Girlfriend’s Text Messages Expose Her Cheating

I’m so pissed at myself for doing this. I totally screwed up a good thing. This guy I was seeing was really good to me. There was this short period of time though when things weren’t going so well. I was afraid he was going to dump me so I started sleeping with this other guy behind his back. It was a defense mechanism kind of thing. Anyway, this other guy sent me a text when I was in the bathroom when me and my boyfriend were out at a restaurant. He was already suspicious I think because he took my phone out of my purse and read the text. When I came out of the bathroom, he doesn’t even try hiding that he’s looking through all my text messages and he’s like “Who the fuck is Manny?” I started crying and then he just walks out of the restaurant and leaves me there. We talked later and I told him everything. He was crying and all upset too but he said he just couldn’t be with me any more. It’s definitely over.

Ok, even though this is probably OVER now (since you posted this in MAY–of 08!) how was sleeping AROUND on him, going to STOP him from breaking UP with you?
