My boyfriend thought it was hot that I’d done the lesbian thing in my youth but he thought I was over it. Honestly, so did I. He brought up the idea of us having a three-way with a girl sometime, but I just have no interest in that.
A woman I’d had a brief relationship with more than 10 years ago was in town on business and got in touch with me out of nowhere. Things had ended fine with her, though we hadn’t talked in a really long time. I agreed to meet for a drink, thinking it was nothing. But the moment I saw her in her hotel’s bar, I knew her motivations were not sentimental. She had that look in her eye. I did not want to cheat on my boyfriend and I honestly did not have any strong cravings for this girl or any other. It was the booze that did it. We got trashed, her leg was rubbing against mine and then suddenly we’re holding hands under the table. It felt really good to be wanted. I’d not felt that in a long time, and my old lover hadn’t lost her talents for making a girl feel special. Then we were in her room. It all came back so easily. The sex was effortless. We both came so fast. I don’t know if it was the novelty or her talents or something else. But as we laid on the bed naked and ate room service ice cream sundaes, I started to feel guilty.
By the time I got home, I decided that I had to tell my boyfriend. I didn’t want any secrets and stupidly I thought he wouldn’t be upset since he always got off when I told him dirty girl-girl tales from my past. To make a long story short, he flipped out on me. He even started crying! In retrospect, I can understand, but at the time I felt pissed that he didn’t appreciate my honesty more. Eventually he got over it, but something changed in our relationship. That comfortable level of trust is gone. It’s my fault.
