Fortunately the private investigator my wife hired is such a dirtbag that he approached me with the incriminating evidence in hand and without quite saying so offered to destroy it for the right price. I offered him $10,000 and he accepted immediately. I wasn’t sure I could trust him but it’s been six months, so I guess it worked out. Funny thing is that I had already broken off the affair by the time that happened. But I didn’t need my wife getting half my money.
